She would remember Santa Claus, his giving spirit, and his kindness, for the rest of her life, even as an old woman. She never stopped hoping she would get to see him again one day. Even though she never received another visit, the Christmas spirit would live in her forever.
I love the picture that you chose and the story that you wrote about the Christmas spirit. It made me smile and think about all those special childhood Christmas memories that I myself treasure, filled with a sense of wonder, family, and love.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea that kindness, or in this case the Christmas spirit, has a significant impact on people. I think that we should all aspire to be like Santa Claus leaving a legacy of giving and kindness.
